On October 18 we celebrated the fifth Poetry Festival at Shapeshifter Lab, Brooklyn, NY, starting at 6:00 p.m. This year we had a concert by La Muchacha y el Propio Junte (Colombia), and readings and performances by Soleida Ríos (Cuba), Ghazal Ghazi (Iran-USA), Amelia Bande (Chile), Mónica de la Torre (Mexico), André Capilé (Brazil), and Guilherme Gontijo-Flores (Brazil). We closed with La PhDJ and DJ Cienfuegos.
