Como un lugar is a New York–based organization of immigrant artists and public scholars that promotes Latinx and Latin American poetry in NYC. We are committed to creating accessible, culturally relevant spaces for our communities to gather, create, and experience carefully curated poetic performances. Since 2021, we have organized our annual Fiesta de la Poesía, an international poetry festival bringing together poetry, music, and performance from Latin American and Latinx artists. As part of our programming, we host Problemas de Identidad, a multilingual translation series, and workshops exploring the intersections between poetry and other forms of creative expression.

We are also a small press, with a catalog focused on poetry and cross-genre works.
