We make the Poetry Festivals with our hands so that words come to life. We open these spaces for poetic expression through music and performance. We want to propose body-to-body encounters with poetry, spectacles that move us to connect with the forces of language to imagine times, forces, materialities that allow us an expansion toward plural ways of living life. The Poetry Festivals are part of our mission to support poets, whose work is often unpaid or not paid enough.
We seek to consolidate these festivals as spaces for the Latin American community and allies to enjoy and celebrate the power of the word and awaken the joy of living through creation. These festivals are free, with open access. We hold them in popular spaces, not necessarily linked to culture.
