What does it mean to think of tarot symbolism as a creative catalyst? In this workshop, led by writer and tarot reader Laura Rojas, we played with the images of the 78 tarot cards to produce different kinds of texts and recognize the multiple ways of looking at an arcanum. With no prior knowledge required, participants took part in a series of guided exercises and explored the power of tarot as a fascinating tool for creation, steeped in history. The workshop was also an experiment in which, as a group, we created a collective oracle: a magical pact that happens when two elements as vital and powerful as poetry and tarot come together.
¿Qué significa pensar la simbología del tarot como un disparador creativo? En este taller, dirigido por la escritora y tarotista Laura Rojas, jugamos con las imágenes de las 78 cartas del tarot para producir distintos tipos de textos y reconocer las múltiples formas de mirar un arcano. Sin el requisito de tener un conocimiento previo, los participantes entraron en una serie de ejercicios guiados y exploraron la potencia del tarot como una herramienta fascinante para la creación, y llena de historia. El taller fue también un experimento en el que, como grupo, creamos un oráculo colectivo: un pacto mágico que sucede cuando se combinan dos elementos tan vitales y poderosos como lo son la poesía y el tarot.
